She brings both rigor and warmth to her interiors, grounding her work in a strong, inviting sense of place. With degrees in fine art, art history and architecture, Susan began her professional career on the East Coast at Christie’s where she was immersed in the gallery and auction worlds. She mines her multidisciplinary background and deep relationships with makers, artists, architects and builders to honor the vision of each client.

Founding Principal Chris Weir is driven by the belief that the interaction with or inhabitation of simple forms, rendered in honest materials enriches one's life. With his extensive background in design and architecture, Chris upholds a process that is deeply holistic, collaborative, technically innovative and personal to each client. Chris’ professional experience includes 15 years as a project architect for award-winning firms. He is also an accomplished product designer of critically lauded products in the home audio space. Leveraging his unique expertise, Chris leads the firm’s interior architecture team and guides all aspects of the studio’s custom furniture design and fabrication.
